1. Is it people who bother me, or are my thoughts about people bothering me?
2. Trust that unpleasant emotions or thoughts will change/disappear automatically (see them as clouds in the sky). You don't have to do anything to get rid of them. Don't fight them. Do the opposite: be kind to them. The kinder you are to them, the sooner they disappear. Happy thoughts and emotions: it is likely you want to keep them. But if you try to hold on to them, you are pushing away your painful emotions. Your painful emotions will therefor (later) become stronger.
Teach yourself to recognize your thoughts. They are just thoughts. They are not true. They are not you. It is all about awareness.
