Saturday. In my case this meant: I slept late and was very excited about it.
'You were up early,' my BF said when he got out of bed and met me in the kitchen where I was doing the dishes.
'No, my man. It was already 7.15 when I woke up.'
He rolled his eyes.
I took a B12 supplement. I started reading about supplements this week and since I eat vegan most of the time, I wanted to know whether I need to take vitamins and minerals. The Forks over Knifes website was very clear to me. If you eat healthy vegan food (of course vegan doesn't automatically mean that you eat healthy), you should not have to take any supplements, except you need B12.
We got coffee in my favorite coffee house and ate cookies and I read a bit of the newspaper (not the news section, only the background articles and cultural section and a bit of gossip (although I hardly know anymore who the celebs of this moment are)).
I cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom, all is lemon fresh now. I vacuumed. I cleaned my yoga mat. I went to the library and returned books and got new ones. I now have a book about birds, it is called Bird Sense. What It's Like to Be a Bird, by Tim Birkhead. I think it is for bird nerds, so after reading this I will be one.
No yoga today. My ankle still hurts a bit when I touch it, so it needs rest, I guess. Tomorrow I'll have a day's rest as well. Hopefully I'll be back on my mat on Monday, with a fixed ankle.
